Making Honey

During writing, we were learning how to write an explanation.  We learnt about how bees make honey.  After we had done lots of reading about the process, we then made animations to show what happens. Using our animations to help us, we then wrote our explanation about how honey is made.  We were lucky, because then Mr. Seaman brought in some pieces of his bee hives that he has at his house.  Mrs. Henare dressed up as a beekeeper and gave us all a surprise!

  1. Hi Room 7 I'm Cassandra from Ohaeawai School. And I really like your cool pictures they are really clear and easy for the viewer to see. Maybe you can put your animation in your blog post so the reader can watch it and maybe next time you do a blog post you can jazz up the title :) From` Cassandra

  5. Kia Ora Room &. We're Room 4 from Paihia School. We are a Year 3 and 4 class but we aren't as lucky as you as we do not have a chromebook each. Mr Seaman comes into our class to watch us write as well. We'll have to ask him about his beehives. It must have been interesting seeing how honey was made.

  6. Hi Room 7, i'm Letisha from Tautoro School. I really enjoyed reading your writing about having fun playing you games. I really think that you are lucky. To improve I think that if you would like to change your writing and put all your pictures on a slide for example Animoto is a fun site to have a look on but other than that your writing is cool well done.
